Warrior Cats.

This Book is about a cat called Rusty. Rusty has lived a kitty pet life since he was a kitten. one day he wants to go wandering into the forest. But when he goes into the forest he meets a cat called Bluestar Who leads a cat clan called The Thunder Cats clan. Rusty is eager to join it .Bluestar offers if he wants to join her clan. so he does. He meets many Friends at the clan. he soon figures out he cant have his old name "Rusty" so The clan gives Rusty a new name .firepaw. Firepaw trains to become a warrior cat. soon there becomes a big battle againtst the Shadow clan and the Thunder clan. who will win?

Thoughts.

This book is amazing. I love it!
This book is super cool because its about cats being Warriors!!!
My favourite Character was Firepaw and bluestar.

Who Should Read it?

If you like books about cats this would be awesome.

If you like books packed with action this would be cool.

My recommended age for this is 7 & up.

Emmy And The Incredible Shrinking Rat.

Intro.

This book is about a girl called Emmy, a Talking Rat and Emmys Evil Nanny. Emmy makes freinds with the rat, she calles Ratty. They make a plan againtst Emmys Evil Nanny. On the way Emmy makes freinds with a mice village where Ratty lives.

 Thoughts.

I really enjoyed the book because there was a "funny" Rat in it.

The book had an odd mixture of characters but I liked reading about them.

There was a small part in the book where Emmy had to do something to the Ender Mouse that I didn't enjoy.

Who Should Read It?

If you like animal stories this would be a good one.

My recommended age for this book would be 7 and up.

If you like school stories this would be nice.

The One And Only Ivan.

 Intro

This book is about a gorilla called Ivan, a baby elephant called Ruby, a dog called Bob and another elephant called Stella. Ivan lives in a cage which is in a shopping mall. Ivan is accompanied by Bob Stella and so  on. Ruby, the baby elephant joins Ivan after she was captured in Africa. Ivan doesn't want Ruby to become a one and only like him. " But Ruby showes Ivan there might be another way to live".  

Thoughts.

I enjoyed this book because Ivan was in 1st person.

I liked how the book had so much animals in it.

There was a small part where a girl called Julia doesn't understand Ivan's painting. [ I didn't really like that part.]

Who Should Read It? 

If you adore animal stories this would be nice. 

If you like friendship books this would be a good one.

If you like Quite sad stories this would be okay.

Minnie McClary Speaks Her Mind

Intro

This book is about a girl called Minnie, her best freind, Amira, Minnies uncle and Miss Marks, her school teacher. Who is very diffrent to any teacher you have probably ever heard, but yet an amazing person. Miss Marks has changed Minnies school life ever since she became her teacher. This book is mainly about Miss Marks helps Minnie with her home life and her school.

Thoughts

I think this book is really good It really made me feel like I was Minnie.

I loved the character [Minnie] because she was so brave.

Some bits in the book were sad but it went well went with the book.

There was a small bit in the book where I wish it continued a bit more. The bit was when Minnie flushed a bit of paper down the toilet and Amira comes in.

 Who Should Read It?

If you like books about school this be a good one.

Personally my recommended age for his book is 8 and up.

If you like adventurous books this be perfect.

Alanna.

Alanna The First Adventure Book Review.

Intro.

This book is about a girl called Alanna. She very badly wants to become a knight but back in her world knights could only be boys. She was meant to learn the art of magic, but instead she switched places with her twin brother Thom, so Thom was going to learn about magic and Alanna would learns about being a knight. Alanna learns that being a knight might not be as easy as it seems.

Thoughts.

 I found This book was  different  to a lot of books I have read ,because it felt like I was with Alanna on her whole adventure.

I thought it was cool that the author [Tamora Pierce]  thought that Alanna and Thom should swich places.

I found the qoute on the back of the book really nice: " From Now And On I'm Alan Of Trebond, The  Younger Twin". 

Who Should Read It?

If you like books about Knights you should read this book.

If you enjoy books back in time this be a great one.

My reccomended age for this book is 7 and up.
